Violence Against Women Act: Reauthorization Fundamentally Flawed

Violence Against Women Act: Reauthorization Fundamentally Flawed.

This has now been a travesty against families for over a decade. This simplistic “women good, men bad” translates into a billion dollar annual pork feed to gender feminists who are institutionalizing male hatred.  This hurts everyone, but the power mad and fearful don’t care.   Cathy Young wrote that prior to the next authorization, there needs to be alternatives to VAWA proposing equity in funding for men victims, etc.  On one hand, this sounds good, by why try to gerry-rig a disaster?

We have to be able to stand up to the “you hate women if you don’t consider us victims” canard.

Good article explaining why, in my opinion in part, marriage is in decline in the West.  Does this invite alternative family forms?  YOU DECIDE!

Bozell: Exposing the Hollywood ‘Clique’ | CNSnews.com.

Good article; we need more formal documentation of the phenomenon and action:

1. 1st, vote with your money- don’t pay for or watch schlockey tv or films with an egregious left bias

2. Class action suits and legal challenges to those producers, companies & investors who portray traditional values as either backwards or ignorant

3. Document the social costs of liberal bias!- how does this impact family formation, social burdens (jails, transfer payments, etc.) ?

So much for objective reporting.  Yellow journalism is one thing, but intentional one-sided misrepresentation of people with opposing views, combined with non-existent fact checking defines irresponsible reporting.

Ideological gulags are alive and well and living in the blogosphere.

Apparently women’s  jobless rates are decreasing and less impacted by recessions, while men’s are trending upwards since the 80’s.

Men’s News Daily...    Aborting Fatherhood.

Good points by the author Elam.  If “equality” were real equality, then men could walk away from parenting as easily as women.   Before making any assumptions, read the facts.

Here’s What Maine Teaches Police About Domestic Violence.

Read this.  The obvious political unfairness of such approaches is not apparent to most people until they’re caught up in these situations.
Ironically, it’s funded by your tax dollars.
